PROFESSIONAL GRADE, BLACK AND WHITE 35MM NEGATIVES OF YOSEMITE, CALIFORNIA I was a professional photographer in the 1970’s. Thousands of yards of 35mm film were developed covering a wide range of subjects . . . but these four (4) black and white proof-sheets (with matching sleeves of black and white 35mm negatives) of Yosemite (taken in 1972) were professionally developed but never used. Shut away for almost 50 years, they have recently been discovered and are now available for purchase. 100 black and white 35mm frames with a variety of Yosemite images (most notably Half Dome and El Capitan) have survived intact - in perfect condition. Absolutely stunning images! The negatives have no scratches, warps, tears, fading or yellowing. The grain and exposure is tight and consistent, frame to frame. This is a wonderful catalog of early 1970’s Yosemite. There are alternate shots of Half Dome and El Capitan as well as other areas of interest in the Yosemite Valley. I am offering a rare opportunity to own a professional photographic record of one of the most photogenic areas in the world. The opportunity to print and sell from this collection is very real. Framed prints from this time period go anywhere from $75 to $150. Note that these negatives were professionally developed and archived. The grain is such that prints up to 16x20 are totally achievable. Each negative strip will be individually wrapped in a protective plastic sleeve (grouped to correspond with each proof-sheet). All contents will be bubble wrapped in a styrofoam shell and shipped in bullet-proof packaging to assure they arrive to you undamaged. I require the buyer to pay through escrow but a credit card purchase would be accepted. Upon purchase I will e-mail you to set-up Escrow Account (if applicable) and agree to Escrow terms. NOTE: As a buyer, if you reject the item being purchased or pull funds out of escrow by any means, you will be responsible for all escrow fees assessed, as well as for the cost of shipping the item back to me before your funds are released to you. I will pay Escrow fees, shipping, insurance and certified mail delivery. I will supply to buyer a signed and dated letter releasing my interest in these negatives, transferring complete ownership to the buyer.
